This year’s In-School Management (ISM) Conference, sponsored by Tyro, will take place on the 21st and 22nd of November in the Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort in Cavan.

The ISM Conference is an important social event for Principals and Deputy Principals to network and build relationships with colleagues. This event also provides a valuable opportunity for relevant and targeted in-service for senior leaders in our schools. The Programme for the event is organised by the ACCS ISM Task Group.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Artificial Intelligence in our Schools and in our Lives”

Guest Speaker

Our guest speaker on Friday morning is Patrick Boland, Author of “The Contemplative Leader”, Psychotherapist, Leadership Consultant, and Executive Coach.

Patrick’s background is in Strategy and Human Capital consultancy and Education, and he has been involved in a variety of leadership development, training, and executive development roles since 2005.

He founded Conexus in 2013 and since then has worked with senior teams and leaders in global organisations ranging from Google to Unilever, the LEGO Group to Citi, Accenture to Salesforce, AIB to ING bank. He continues to consult and write with Richard Rohr at the Centre for Action and Contemplation in New Mexico.
